#368 • Bluewing Teal From the Dodge Decoy Factory

Part of Two Day Winter Sportsman's Auction 2026 Session Two (timed auction by Zeb B. Barfield, Inc.)

High bid $110.00

Status: Sold

Very faint traces of OP, but most of the bird is down the bare wood. This is a very rare species and from the rig of Capt. Wilbur Corwin used on his boat WHISTLER out of Bellport, LI. The iron remaining in the underside is a rigging of Corwins. There is a very small sliver off the underside of the bill which from the aged patina has been off a very long time. From the Collection of Malcom Flemming, obtained from Vernon Berg, and most recently of the Bill Walsh Collection
